For six weeks now we’ve been in the season called Lent. The word Lent essentially means “Springtime”…a time of fresh new beginnings! It’s a time for taking stock of the spiritual condition of our heart…a time of reflection, contemplation, and allowing the Holy Spirit full access to the depth of us to cleanse and bring forth renewal.
In truth, it’s a purifying and essential exercise in our preparation for Easter…the greatest day in the Christian calendar.
Today’s episode of ENCOURAGING WORDS woos us to pause, to engage in “spiritual inventory” and “spring cleaning” of our hearts. Let God do it…and you’ll be amazed at the joy and freedom that will flood your soul!
